We’ve got something special for all you fans.

On November 28th, behind the doors of the quaint little Solstice Café, in the heart of Victoria’s ‘old town,’ bold, beautiful music will permeate the air.

At our first show of the Bold Rhythm Records Presents… series we are featuring two great artists:

(((Trevor Davies Band)))

Alt-indie singer-sonwriter, Trevor Davies has made a name for himself in the music scene, both here and abroad. A consummate touring jazz musician, and equally adept rock musician Trevor is performing the first show with his new band members, Richie Jackson and Paul Carpenter.

(((My Friend John)))

Our friend John Jeffrey is an anomaly. He set out to find a sound and that’s just what he did. In fact he found many sounds, so he looped them all together, and what he ended up with blew our minds. Come experience My Friend John and his groovy noise-rock on this find Saturday night.

Wandering Buddha Project is a hip little group of peace-loving dudes and dudettes currently hanging out in Nanaimo, BC. Their musical inspirations are along the lines of Jack Johnson, The Beautiful Girls, and Neil Young among others.

The group includes:
Ian Montgomery on Drums
Sara Nicole Masters on Keys / Vocals
Theo Hughes-Ridgway on Bass / Vocals
Liam Robichaud on Guitar / Vocals

Friday night, Liam and Theo sat down for a very tranquil version of “Castles” with just guitar and vocals.The video was records low-fi (just for fun) on a laptop camera. Forgive the audio quality.

Trevor Davies Update

Trevor Davies
Consummate Indie Singer/Songwriter and Guitarist

Trevor is about to embark on a tour accompanying contemporary / classical singer, Ken Lavigne, and is currently doing some jazzy-cool shows with The Gillian Stone Quintet.

Aside from being a guru of guitar for all things jazz, Trevor has begun working on an album to be released this sometime this upcoming winter / spring.
